So beautiful! Alex initially frightened (and who could blame him?) but softening when Clark starts to cry is just exactly right -- and I lovelovelove Alex remembering that, when Clark touched him all those years ago, the pain went away. *happy sigh* It's so cute, too, the way Clark just spills out everything. But Alex has some kind of plan in mind, doesn't he, to deal with what's coming? *wibbles* Lovely, lovely chapter! And no killer cliffhanger! *hugs you*
