roxySo Saturday, I'm flying to Oregon to visit my friend--did I tell you this all ready? I hate the idea of flying. I keep having mini-panic attacks. I don't know if I'll be around that much but with luck, I will be and won't fall too much behind. Anyhoo, I'll be gone until August 21.
Unfortunately, I only have some bits of the "humorous" story to post, I'm still working on East, sorry about that. I guess the goofy stuff comes easier. *g*
In other news, I've drop kicked my SpN stories into the mist--they're going nowhere so I've folded their little tents and bid them farewell. Alas, I'm much better at reading them than I am at writing them. *G* I've had a lot of fun reading those Big Bang stories, and I envy those folks. Great stuff, great writing. It's sort of disappointing that I can't seem to pull those SpN stories off, but they involve a lot of plotty thinking--not my strong suit.
I'm still working on getting the house back together, I just bought a really neat little sleeper sofa that I'm putting in one room, and I have my Ikea list for stuff to finish the rooms off. I figure that by October, I should be done. Mind you, if certain husbands hadn't insisted on vacations, I'd have the money to finish now. It's okay though. I moved all the Smallville stuff from behind the door to the middle of the long wall in the room I stole from my niece to use as my 'office'. Lex is staring at me. I think he's telling me to write about him. But I'm telling him to shut up and just look pretty.
