Okay, the whole thing was great -- really ratcheting up the tension here! It felt so fast and frenetic and I could hardly breathe the entire time I was reading it -- but that last line was the clincher. I just-- Bruce was perfect here. And Lex was so perfect, too. I really felt like I could see him, the way you described his actions in this section really sparked something in me today. *shrugs*
Great job!! And guess what? A new World of Tomorrow should be up tonight. :)
