You ever read other folks posts and wish that you could be as excited about a fandom as they are?

I have the cramps, lord have mercy. Why come there are hot flashes and weird hormonal storms and STILL I have to deal with this monthly Nature's Practical Joke?



I've been on a bit of a friending spree lately. I feel comfortable friending folks who have a bazillion friends. At least I did until I realized LJ has that little feature that alerts you when you've been friended. Makes it hard to be a lurker. And makes me wonder just how I deal with this thing that I do not understand at all. My laptop might as well be a magic picture showing brick, for all the understanding I have of it.

I'm feeling kind of sad but excited too that EOTS is almost done. I'm getting it in tiny bits and pieces and I was hoping to be done before the end of August. And then what?

I could reeeeeeeeally go for some pie. Key lime, or Granny Smith apple, or lemon meringue...blueberry, blueberry would be good. Heck, maybe I'll make a pie tomorrow.
*snicker--BWAAAAHAHAAHAAAAAA! Yeah, like THAT'S going to happen. *whew*

So, come on, friends--rec me some really heart-breaking and nasty SpN! I'm in the mood for it--or some J2. Mmmm! With meringue!

I don't usually go for heart-breaking, but if you want nasty, thenyxie's latest,Yours By Any Other Name (J2, with Jensen channelling Dean), is downright filthy-hot. (And you read her amazing But my homework was never like this, right? Currently topping my list of "hottest stories of all time"? J2, Jared is a spoiled high school student and Jensen is his teacher?)

Being excited about a fandom is nice--but even in my own little camp of my silly ship there are people who piss me off. I just try really hard to not rant about it too much. But yes, it's much nicer to be excited about something than feel like you always have to groan about it. It's one reason I had to move away from Clex. It got too painful... :(

That's not fair at all. But if you didn't have cramps you would have to come up with excuses for taking really awesome painkillers. Excedrin PM's? ::thumbs up::

It does? You must have to engage it on your profile because I only know when I've been friended when I check my profile page. Then again I just figured out how to track people's birthdays. So who knows how this LJ thing works.

We can't put Sara Lee out of work, better buy a pie. Me? I don't like pie at all (outside of Pecan pie because who doesn't like Pecan pie?) but every once in a blue moon I have an insane craving for Dutch Apple pie. I gues sometimes everyone just needs pie. And that's my deep thought for the day: sometimes everyone just needs pie.

The really hot stuff I read lately wasn't exactly Wincest. It was kinda sorta, squint at it sideways Wincest. It was a SpN/Dark Angel crossover. One was Sam/Alec and the other was Sam/Dean/Alec. They hit most of my kink buttons. Dunno if it'd be your thing though.

The notifications are set up in your profile and to get notified when someone posts, then set Tracking on when you're on their Journal. Except that was broken a few months back and I haven't tried to add tracking on any one recently and maybe I'll just go over here and be quiet now....
