No, no! The Spike love is not new. It's the Spander love that's new. Spike/Angel is the pairing that introduced me to the joy of slash. There is in fact an entire series of Spike/Lex and I have read some Clark/Xander and Clak/Lex/Buffy and a number of other delicious Buffy crossover pairings. I've read some Lindsey/Lex, too.
