Merlin, Merlin--that's coming up in January, right? I'm so curious because so many folks are writing it--*waves*--hi all my friends who are leaving me for Merlin. Oh, it's okay, I got used to it when everyone left me for SGA. Have some hot chocolate and some cookies--I made them out of *little slivers of my heart and my tears*!

See what I just did there? I use that on the children too. *grin* Yeah, it's kind of fun ladling the guilt on. One of those parental perks. :)

I think that's me too--I don't think I'm too terribly interested in little kids. Even though I guess the SpN guys might still count as little kids at my age.

I thought that the series was coming in January but I read that it's not coming until summer. I did want to wait, but really, that
s never stopped me before. I think I'm leery of the shininess...:)

I agree that Clark is of an age (and level of beauty) that can surmount any chronological disparities, but you shouldn't have to limit yourself. I don't think I'm really lusting after them individually, more rooting for the pair to find one and other and realize their true slashy goodness destiny. Finding myself more in the role of a Slash Jewish Grandmother squeeing over my two darling bubbalas. Either way - I completely understand the necessity of staying strong and resisting new fandoms.

Even if it's the next big thing, I don't see myself jumping ship any time soon. The Winchesters aren't going to let me. They may have scared off Clark and Lex, but I don't think they're going to let a couple of guys in armor run them off.

Might give Dean and Sam ideas though. Dean would probably like the armor coz it'd make women swoon. Sam would want the swords coz I'm sure Sammy has a knife kink.

Yeah. It took a while for me to try considering I was hearing a lot about it. I didn't start watching until episode 9, I think, and then I went back to grab the rest. It's a lot of fun and multi-shippy and irreverent in a good way. Everyone's mileage varies, of course. ;)

Sammy likes knives. He has that nice curved blade from s1 that I've searched everywhere for. Then he has the knife Ruby gives him. He always charges in with a knife when Dean goes in with a gun. Whether he uses knives in other, creative ways, I'm not sure but I think he really, REALLY likes them.

Or he's overcompensating. ;)

I did send you a file. Read it when you have time. I'm not in a hurry to work on it. No matter what the Muses say. I can distract them with other shiny things.
