Somehow I didn't comment on this when you originally posted it. *scratches head* But I know I read it cos I remember Sam "telling" the hellhound off.
Anyway, I like this chapter because it shows basically every side of Sam. The end is the clincher of course, though. Somehow, only Sam could tell himself it's all a hallucination, believe it, and still spook a hellhound away from Dean-o.
And Dean here? God, I love this story. He's broken, but at least he's with Sam (who's also kinda glued together shoddily). Is this the story with the unhappy-ish ending you were talking about the other day?
