Man, this is great! There is so much about this whole 'verse that I love. Dean and Sam and their relationship and how Sam vacilates from thinking Dean is awesome to thinking he is a complete jerk.
John, the decent guy with good intentions and all this danger that hides just under the surface.
And I love the Winchesters saving Pat. It's what they do, right? Save people. I loved Dean's authority when they picked Pat up. John's response was great too, his reaction at first and then how we watched him melt when he saw the extent of the situation.
And the gift of the impala. I like to think this was canon. John's nonchalant attitude, Dean's complete glee.
