Thank you! I'm so very happy that you liked this story. I thought that even though huge parts of it were written just to please me, that it worked pretty good as an AU pre-series fic.

Plus it enabled me to write a good John and make up for the time I wrote him as a psychotic killer. *G* Good, times, I have them. :)
