No, no--this isn't angst like mine! It's...real. It's heart-breaking in spots, but uplifting too. It's not the kind of thing that leaves you gasping in a broken little puddle either, or tortured by unrelenting horrible incident after incident. There are moments that make you want to cry, sure, but overall, it's positive, I think. (you *are* asking me though and you know I have some kinda screw loose...but!)
I'd rate it a 5 on the ouch-o-meter. Girl, this is writing that will make you feel lucky to have read thisd story, trust me.
