Okay, I was the only one in the whole fandom who didn't know that Dean was the sword--Michael's vessel. Sure, I heard the idea tossed around but I didn't really think that was the case but wow. And Castiel absolutely kicked ass!

And GOD I'M SO EMBARRASSED ABOUT WRITING FANFICTION but in that way that I don't plan to stop. :)

I wasn't spoiled at all so I was screaming my head through the entire episode especially when my theory that Dean was Michael or at least his Vessel was proven right.
It's all about the bloodlines! I guarantee that John, Mary or both are direct descendants of the Nephalim. It would explain Lucifer's need for Sam and why it was the second son not the first born that was chosen, if Michael's mark was already on Dean. And I imagine double blooded Nephalim are rare at best.

I think it would take some real evil-doing to play people like that, the way Lucifer did his intended vessel. They weren't subtle because they don't have the minds to be really evil, IMO.

Oh, but I envy those in the SPN fandom.

It would be a total blast to write Lucifer, and we haven't seen him wear the meat suit yet.

He's terrific.

The way he toyed with that guy, like he said God toyed with him. He's no better, if that's indeed what God did. (I think the Devil did it, just so he could push the guy's buttons later... I bet God wasn't involved at all with the murder of his family.)

It'll be great to see if when Michael shows up: I can't wait to see Jensen play that part: an Avenging Angel, full of righteous wrath.

Awesome is the right word! I think Jensen would act the hell out of it--he's totally capable of it.

I loved writing AUs of SV, but I like that writing AUs of SpN feels like writing canon.

Yeah, I kept thinking about how Ruby kept saying that it had to be Sam who did it and all the demons who did their best to destroy Dean's confidence and how Dean's going to hell was the long con on Lucifer/Azazel's part, knowing that if a: Dean was in hell then Michael couldn't take him as a vessel and b: Dean dying would put Sam totally over the edge.
They didn't count on the angel's figuring it out or sending someone to get Dean and even if they did, the damage had been done.

Hey, I downloaded (Arrrr, I be a pirate!), watched and then blogged like a good littler fangirl. Hee. I'm feeling pretty lax about the whole make-fun-of-the-slash-writers thing. We know we're crazy. That's why I keep the armoire full of the boys' pictures and autographs all shut up tight.

Dean-o, Dean-o, Dean-o. *shakes head* I really didn't blame him there at the end. Sam did fuck up. But Kripke is on record as saying the boys'll be reconciled this season, so. . . *holds up fist* We best be gettin' some reconciliation-action here! Or else I'll write some really crazy-ass Wincest, and *then* we'll see who has the last laugh. Uh? That didn't make sense, but that's just me being a wacky fangirl, I guess. Hey! I came up with the new all-purpose excuse. "Oh, I'm sorry, but Dean's clavicle needs caressing! Wincest, STAT!"

I wonder if the fangirl wasn't actually us, but Kripke himself, with the ramrod straight sitting in front of the computer and the total belief that what she was writing was going to be awesome. I never write like that. I write and delete and rewrite it, only to delete it again, because most of the time it sounds ridiculous to me. Anyway, I loved her reaction to Chuck and Sam, and how uncomfortable she was making Sammy. Forget demons and angels, Dean needs to protect Sammy from fangirls! ;) I wonder how they managed to get her out of their room at all. Heh!

About the sword thingy. It might be possible that the first thing I imagined, when I watched it, was Sam holding Dean by his ankles and swinging him around like a sword ... (maybe I've read too many crackfics.) *facepalm*

By the way, I love Nick and Lucifer.

I think Dean deserves to get in a shot after all Sm did--not that it was really Sam's fault in a way. I think Ruby had a whole hell of a *lot* to do with the way Sam felt. And I'm with you, we better get some reconciliation all right. They better reconcile so hard the earth shakes.
