Hey, sweetie!!

Many of my friends don't understand how I can be awake for 36-52 hours at a time and then crash for 4 just to do it again when it's summer time.

Wow! You do that on the regular? Dang! I used to do that occasionally when I was a kid, and back then I thought it was fun, but geez...*shudders*

As for your method of wearing yourself out...hah! I think I will stick with the fanifc, lol!
