Yeah, apparently John's twin died in the womb and it's heavily implied that John killed him, it's what led to John's father's drinking and abuse of him and his mother. When Zatanna and John are fighting off like, every demon ever, John takes a header and Nergal gets him and shows how in a Alternate Universe both of them survived and their lives, while not normal, both of them had a whole lotta intrinsic magic in them, were a lot better. That's what got me thinking, 'What if John Winchester was the twin?' and then the plot bunnies attacked. If the FBI hadn't shut down htmlcomics you could read it, it's been years and my Hellblazer comics are in storage so I'm going to have to figure out how read them online, the DC site only has the newer ones, so I can make sure my plot points are happening in sync with the Supernatural verse.
