You know, I used not read J2 fic so I didn't even realize this was a problem (because the one I did read had Tom only there briefly and he was quite funny). But then someone self-recc'd their fic in a comment to one of mine, luring me in with the promise of Justin (Hartley). What they failed to mention was that Tom was also there as an abusive boyfriend and Justin was actually his victim.
I know, WTF, right? I was SO angry and I couldn't even make it through the first chapter. I've read other J2 fics, where it's like, they just made up a nasty villain and stuck Tom's name in there.
So thank you again for standing up for our guy. Seriously, just make an OC or something, instead of massacring the character of a genuinely wonderful person. :\
Though the one person I do highly recommend is anyothergirl415 (you might've read her fics already). She's nice to both Tom & Mike! :D
