BG is moving back home, much to Mr. R's joy. Hah! Not really! But he's dealing, poor man. Me, I'm happy about it. I expect there'll be a few rough spots here or there, but on the whole, I think I can still take her so...Hah! I kid. kinda.

This moving back home means I'm going through stuff, getting rid of oh my goodness, tons of things. Throwing it away willy-nilly. I tossed a buttload of old mags from when I first got into the fandom thing--or re-entered it, I should say. :) Also, I've got artwork, stuff I did, and I thought instead of tossing it, maybe someone would be interested in it? Truth to tell, I hate throwing it away, but I also don't want to keep it anymore. I can post scans if anyone thinks they might be interested? Mostly SV stuff, some stuff folks might remember, (some naughty things--you might not want to hang them in the rumpus room), all ink drawings.

I like this throwing things away, it makes me feel good. I feel like I'm just peeling off all this stuff that was clinging to me. It was hard to get rid of things my mom gave to me, but if the kids don't want it, why keep it? I feel like I'm taking advantage of the Goodwill near me, heh. BG took a buttload of stuff down there, left it on their stairs and ran like crazy! *G*

In other news, Dad is doing great, Mr. R fried a turkey, and I spent the afternoon tossing things and being entertained by my cousins. Pretty good day all around.

Well, good for you! I'd hate to see my roxy turn into one of those hoarders you see on the tv.

And, hey, if you're looking to get rid of stuff, I'm certainly game! Send it this way, hon. I'll look after it for you, especially the naughty stuff. (*dirty chuckle*)

Lemme know, and I'll send you my new address. :) *BIG HUGS* I am so proud of you, sweetie!

I'm assuming that BG is a grown child moving back home?? My mom used to say we just won't stay away. We kept coming back over AND over AND over. :D

I just lost my external hard drive and 7 years worth of SV/Tommy stuff. Anything you'd like to send a stranger like me, I'd be over the moon!!! I'd be happy to pay postage. If you would, PM me and tell me what you have. I'd be most grateful!!

OMG! I'm going thru the same thing right now. My baby moved back a little over a week ago, and 10 bags(big-ass black stretchy garbage bags) full of cloths, three monitors, two printers, to Goodwill and 10 days later we are still organizing and tossing! We have a nice pile of old furniture that I'd be ashamed to take to Goodwill stacked up for a future bon-fire. I better stock up on hotdogs and marshmallows.

I know that its not a perfect setup but I am enjoying more time with Ericka. Her dad is okay with the move, but her poor cat is really spazzing out. Poor thing is going schizo! She'll rub up against me and nuzzle and then hiss not more than a few seconds later. I thinks she's thinking, "I like you Grandma, but this place sucks, when can I go HOME?!"

Hope all will work out for all of us. Enjoy your BG homecoming!

BTW, anything Clexy you want to rid yourself of I may be interested. After all I've just dumped a shit-ton of stuff so I need to start hoarding again til the next purge!

It's great to hear that your Dad is doing well.

Cleaning out old stuff is its' own reward!

Oh, awesome all the way 'round! :)

Tossing things is good. It *does* make you feel better! My mom has been doing that, too. She says she just has no emotional attachment to all this *stuff*, and she's tired of it. She has her good memories, and that's enough.

*twirls you*

Glad your Dad is doing good! Great to hear.
Stay cool!

Awww, BG!

I understand about throwing things out. I have this insanely heavy trunk that belonged to my grandparents, but I have no memories of it. It's just a pain in my ass, but whenever I try to give it to someone who likes that shit, they're like "No, no, that's from your grandparents!" I'm like, "I have their photos and journals, what do I care for this fucking trunk?" I'm going to sell it. Honestly. People who are sentimental about that shit haven't gotten craploads of stuff from their grandparents yet.
