So, I've decided that I'm going to leave ridiculously wandering and chatty comments on whatever I read. Everyone needs encouragement, and if they don't need that, than a pat on the back saying "hell the fuck yeah that was the ish and I saw what you did there" is welcome by even the most skilled writer, I should think. Well, you guys who know me know I have this weird fear of annoying folks with my responses to their fic, which makes it hard for me to comment sometimes. Stupid, I know, especially since I've met *fabulous* people through comments. *shakes head*

Anyhoo, I'll be posting my favorites here. I've already got a few, which gives me hope for an excellent crop of fics again. Hah--crop. :)

You leave the best comments ever, hon. I still have no clue why you feel so uncertain about that cos *you know* what getting a nice rambling comment feels like: fucking bliss on steroids driving a Porsche with a rainbow sombrero whilst eating chocolate-covered sunshine and sipping moon-juice. I had to reply to this because yeah I know exactly what you mean. I sometimes leave long rambling comments on fic that really gets to me. Then I tend to delete it all and post the generic "wow that was great" because a) Its what everyone else does and b)I am worried it will annoy because its so long and rambling.Its nice to know I am not the only one *g*

I was just talking with Jed last night about how there is no comment too long for writer! No writer is thinking, "Gosh, please stop telling me how much you loved the story!" LOL! I never understand why people feel that way about leaving long comments!

*giggle-snort* Ramble away, sweetie! It's wonderful fun getting rambly comments, much better than another iteration of 'wow, great!' to reply to. Which I do. Even when I can't stand the person, which seriously is so not you. *smishes you hard* Your comments are always fun!

I freeze up with comment boxes sometimes! Then I don't leave a comment because I suddenly can't think of anything besides "♥"! I have at least been letting people know when I rec them (with a link to the relevant rec post), but even that is weirdly tough. I feel so shy about it at that point and it's all "my recs notes are so lame! will they think it's adequate?!" *headdesk* But I know that it's a sadly uncommon practice and one that a lot of people genuinely appreciate, so I hogtie the gibbering idiot in my brain, toss it in the corner, and leave the damn link.
