That's done! Public Enemies has been hanging around for a while, I'm glad most of it's out there! I'd like to write more because I really love Dean in this story, and the time period is one I enjoy writing in. East of The Sun was set in about the same time and was a blast researching for--quite a bit of the info I used for that came to play in PE. I haven't read EoTS since I posted the last bit oh so long ago. I'll reread it soon because I'd like to post that and the other really long Clex fics at AO3. who should be paying me I pimp them so hard, lol!!

I have this weird feeling like I haven't written anything in ages when in fact I'm writing nearly every day. I just haven't posted anything in a bazillion years--March was the last time I posted something and it was a little gen ficlet. That was me saying that I didn't need to post a brick all the time. I liked writing the short piece, makes you get to the goddamn point right away. I used to really like posting drabbles, drabbles are hard, hard, work. Try saying what you want to say in 100 words and make it good--very difficult! I admired the folks who would craft these *amazing* little jewels of hundred word perfections. So cool!

I guess I'm going to try and see the X-Men pretty soon, at least before it leaves the theaters. I'm feeling all left behind again, everyone is running off to see what's in the shiny new sandbox. Lately I've been a strictly one-fandom person and that's kind of worrisome actually--even at the height of my obsession with SV, I read in a ton of other fandoms. I don't know...maybe I'm getting old. Or boring. Oh no--I'm getting set in my ways! Next I'll be sitting on the porch, knitting cats and screaming at the youngsters to turn their carn-sarn flangety-flang music down. Why in my day, the music was actually music! Gosh-darn it, when Ice-Cube said, today was a good day, you know what the hell he meant! This country's going to hell in a handbasket, I tell you what. Nikki Minaj--what the fuck? Why, my generation invented switch-hitting three-somes, dagnabit, though I guess we could have done without the pornstaches...hell, they were ugly back in the day, but everyone pretended like they liked them...What's that you say? Speak up, why the fuck is everyone whispering these days?

Later, I'll post my PE soundtrack, won't that be fun? I do have a soundtrack for everything I write and sometimes cast pics--I *love* cast pics! rednihilist does that and I think it's so cool. Sometimes, it makes you love the character even more! I love that "Oooo, yeeeeahh, that's him," moment. *G*

You're my hero, Snuggles, and I promise to let you tell the same story to me over and over again, as many times as you want, whilst never rolling my eyes or making up new answers to any questions you might repeatedly ask me. Also, feel free to complain as loudly and obnoxiously as you please whenever we're in public. I swear I won't sidle sideways or lag behind in an attempt to distance myself from you and your embarrassing old-woman ways.
