I don't mind the "true love in a bookstore" stories that much, as long as they're interesting, and I'm like you--I like my angst and drama served up with a happy ending. Or at least if it's angst free, be so well written that I don't miss it. :) Oh, don't say that about the movie adaptations--I love those, lol! The good thing is, I hardly ever see the movies the fics are based on so it's all brand new to me, lol!
