Okay, this is the first part of Deal--this part I wrote looong ago (April, 2005). I always wanted to do more with it, and picked at it from time to time. I do that. And suddenly, this summer, I got inspired, and just as suddenly, side tracked by a certain red-head. But we have room for more than one WIP at good old story time don't we? *eyeballs other WIPs whimpering in the window*

This is not a happy story. There are spots along the way that everyone behaves badly. But, I hope you find it interesting. And just so you know, no-one eats anyone in this story. *G*
