I signed up for the spn_j2_bigbang. Again. Only this time, I *WILL* finish! And this time, I will be really, *really* calling on you for help. Not only is finishing a challenge *HARD* but the story I'm trying to write is harder than I thought it would be. :(

Already I'm waffling on the time line--I like the idea of doing it in a modern setting, but then again, it's fun to set a story in an older era. *sigh* I have the backbone of an earthworm.

This is the Stand By Me story--or it was. It's evolving into something that's *nothing* like that story, hah!! Except it's got young boys in it. Though Mr. King no doubt wasn't thinking anything like what I have in mind...though, having read Salem's Lot and definitely getting a kind of slashy vibe from that...and from It...and that weird creepy non-con bit in The Stand...maybe me and Stevie aren't on as opposite pages as I first thought.

5010 words and counting! at least until I edit the damn thing, heh.
