I went to the movies tonight--this is a huge thing. I have a hard time going to the movies. But I went to see John Carter of Mars and tomorrow I'll tell you all about it. Also, I will respond to comments at my crabby post yesterday. Say, here's a thing--after that post yesterday, I began to reread Non Timebo Mala so I can get started on the time stamp and outtake I wanted to write and it was *chock-full* of the type of mistakes that I crabbed about in my post.

Hah! Thank goodness my house is made of solidest plexiglass and not actual glass. *GGGG*

When you make mistakes and learn from them, that's one thing, but when you make them and persist in making them without any effort to fix them, that's where the trouble can lie. To know they're there and not care enough...that's a fic I don't have interest in. You care.

I'm BEYOND ready for NTM timestamps, just sayin'! *gives a heart WHOOP!*

Aaaaah, good!!! I'm really thinking hard about it! I thought I'd started a timestamp a long time ago but I've searched all through my files and found nothing. I must have written it in my mind...*pout*

When I get something together I'll send it to you!

Is it sane or really nitpicky to want to edit NTM at the AO3? *cringe*

Is there such a thing about being too nit-picky about anything you create? Every time I reread something I wrote, I always find little mistakes or changes I didn't catch before. It's normal. I totally get where you're coming from.

Feel free to email me to bounce ideas off one another. I can't offer beta services, but I'll help however I can. It's just that I'm so involved in my own fic, I'm not sure how much detailed help I could be for others. I can try, though.

Ach, not to worry! I know what it's like being knee deep in a fic and only having enough brain room for that particular thing! I tell you, trying to whip the Big Bang to some kind of finish and poking my PoorDean fic back into motion is beginning to feel like my full time job, lol!

My muse is a one-track mind kind of girl. Too bad she's a lazy one too. She goes on way too many vacations to suit me, hence two of my fics that have been on the back burner for way over a year. I want to finish them because I have people asking for them, but the muse hasn't seemed to want to go back there. I feel like pond scum. I think that's the biggest drawback to posting WIPs. You always take the chance they'll never get finished.

I for one am very happy and proud of you that you went out in the world and (hopefully?) had a decent time? From one hermit to another, I say good job, hon!

Can you just give me a quick, short assessment of the movie? Thumbs up or down? I am so anxious about this movie! *crosses fingers*

Also, hush, you! We all make mistakes, and trust me when I say yours are always negligible. Seriously. *pat pat*

I was so nervous!!!!! I forced myself to be calm and the theater was pretty empty (why we picked an afternoon showing) and I sat on the aisle so it wasn't too bad. Also on the plus side, I was so wrapped up that I forgot all about anything but the flick. :)

So, I give it a measured thumbs up. I know you really like the actor, but I'm not sure I'm 100% with that choice. Special effects/makeup was *amazing*!! Dejah Thoris I liked a lot. The actress was attractive and I thought played the character very well.

I think you'll like it. I have to be honest, it's been so long since I've read the books that I'm not sure if the movie was even in the neighborhood of accurate, still it was fun! Anyway, I look forward to seeing what you thought!

Wheeeeee!
I want to see John Carter, too!!!
*twirls*

I haven't been to see a movie in the theatre since....True Grit, i think?

Holding out for Avengers, because our local theatre is utter pants and the seats are as like medieval torture devices. Also, icky.

Movie!Twins! Heeee.

Yes, after about twenty minutes, my butt is numb, my back is aching and my thighs hurt. They're freaking awful.
