Some really good stories

I'm not a Torchwood fan as such--I enjoyed the cracky goodness of the show but that was about it. Except, this winter, my beloved Niece started to watch the show and loved it and was frustrated by it so much that she began writing a series of fix-its that have blown me right out of the water. There are a few writers of fanfic who make me just melt, and she's one of them. I'm trying to talk her into posting them--I've been begging her to post at AO3 or in her own LJ or *somewhere*! She says when she's done the series--she's going ep by ep--she will. If you're interested at all, let me know, maybe I can use interest as a carrot. Or a flogger, either way works for me.

4/2/12 05:05 am (UTC)She's looking to enter the piece as a whole as a Big Bang but she's having trouble finding an active one. Most won't let you post parts of your story and then use it as a submission, do they?

4/3/12 01:55 am (UTC)As to your question, no, big bangs are supposed to be complete in, not part of a series. However, if the part posted is complete - doesn't leave on a cliffhanger, answers all questions posed in the story, etc - AND if it meets the minimum word count, then it can be accepted. She'd have to contact the mods of the TW BB to ask specifically. I'm just talking generally.
Hope that wasn't too confusing.
