I'm so excite!! I have my popcorn, my lemonade, coffee and coffee cake...I'm ready, Show! You best be kicking ass!!!!

Say. I caught an episode of Revolution, and what I saw, I liked. It was kind of gritty and post-apocalyptic-y, just my flavor! Really great sets, the only thing I thought was goofy were the clothes, but I guess there might be some unplundered Macys or K-Marts 15 years after global meltdown...good show, plus, Giancarlo Esposito, how can you go wrong?

I'm so jealous. I'll miss the premiere in real time and have to wait till I get home to watch the recorded version, and the only reason I'll see the debate is because I'm making the kids watch it tonight, it being a speech class and all. :)

And yes - I'm liking Revolution, too! There's so much clothes out there - i figure enough people died in the first few years, there's plenty to go around.

I am twitchy, but hopeful about show. Somehow I feel being drunk would allow me to pretend I am more prepared. In fact, until about 2 hours ago, I thought the premiere was the 23rd. I was obviously mistaken. Lol.

Revolution is... okay. I think Nate is hot and Uncle Miles has a weird kind of sexiness going on. But I watch it and find myself going, "I see you there, Kripke." Because Charlie is like Dean with boobs in many, many ways. Also, the "family matters more than anything" angle is totally classic Kripke. Still, it's entertaining sometimes. And SWORDS. So, there's that.

I LOVED it! I was all 'hmm' when it opened but swiftly fell madly in love--it appeals to the angst hoor in me. I confess, I centered on the lovely potential for lots and lots of fic....Happy sigh. Dean is hot like fire, hot as he was in the Twihard ep!

"I see you there, Kripke." Because Charlie is like Dean with boobs in many, many ways

Holy shit--yeah! It really did have an SpN kind of feel without being like SpN at all. And I wasn't sure who Nate was so I googled--damn. You're right, hot like fire! I've only seen one but I'm goig to check out the rest and see. I usually hate my fav shows right off the bat so I'm suspicious of liking this right away.

Well, my television went out just as the show started. It's still airing here (central time) but I've seen a grand total of 5 minutes of it... in bits and pieces. So, I have no solid idea about what's going on aside from being D: at how OOC Sam is (was) about Dean going to Purgatory. I mean... I just don't get it, it goes against everything they both are. Add to it that I am horribly confused because of the 1 minute snippets I am catching and yeah, let's just say I'm lost and alarmed right now. In short: Spoil the shit out of me so I'll at least feel like I have a clue. I hate not having cable or satellite, but that shit costs money and I don't have any. *kicks things*

Oh yeah, it has a really solid SPN feel to it, to the point I get this weird feeling of déjà vu when I watch it. Dad's dead, mom's (believed to be) dead, the kids are all on their own, but they have a kindly uncle type (who actually is a relative this go 'round) and there's a conspiracy/plot/evil shenanigans. Classic Kripke for sure. Wasn't he supposed to be doing/producing some show called... Cobra... a while back though? I thought I heard something about that. Maybe I'm wrong. (Tonight is the night I am just destined to be confused and alarmed apparently. Lol) But Nate is hot like burning, ohhhh hell yessss. :D

So, SpN was a bit confusing in its entirety because they told the stories in flashback. Dean somehow made it out of Purgatory, carrying Benny's vampire soul on him, under his skin, and managed to get Sam to meet up with him in that cabin from last season, I'm guessing and there he found out Sam didn't look for him and get all justifiably butt-hurt. But Sam's got something going on, that we don't know yet. And so does Dean, so it's business as usual, hiding shit from each other. Fandom flames out. Me I don't get it, me and my sibs always hid shit from each other but it was shit we thought might make the other sad or hurt them. I get the impulse to do that. I also get that it never works out very well...*g*

So, anyhoo, Kevin makes a reappearance, and during the year he's had to deal on his own has grown a pair of cast iron balls and become quite interesting. Crowley shows up to threaten everyone with bad things and he wants those damn tablets back now but Balls!Kevin says no. Crowley kills his girlfriend and adds Kevin to the" I Want Revenge for (Insert DeadGirl's Name)List.

We don't know what happened to Castiel, Dean is shifty and evasive about that.

We don't know much yet about the girl Sam was living with besides her name and she's a vet—Sam was very forthcoming with facts in a way that managed to be shifty and evasive. Hmmmm…Sam's off somehow. Just guilty or GUILTY?

In conclusion—folks be hiding shit, folks be lying, and there's a whooooole lot going on than meets the eye. Ta-da! Now you are no doubt further confused. Just remember this, both of them were so good to look at. *happysigh*
Not that I'm shallow or anything.

I did see enough to see that Sam looked really good... but also kind of bad. Really scruffy, tired and not altogether... hmm... healthy? Idk if that's putting it right, exactly, but he did seem really off; from his behavior to his appearance. The scruff was really un-Sam like to me. Of course being me, I see all of five minutes and am still going, "SAM IS TOTES ON DRUGS, U GAIZ!" And then I listen to the crickets and fidget uncomfortably in the resounding silence. But I could totally write that. (I am looking for excuses to write something to take a break from srs bsns professional writing. Oy. I actually would write something like that if I had a damn title, which I do not. Oy x 2.)

So, okay, wait: Sam isn't seeing anyone anymore then? I thought she was going to be his girlfriend, but I take not? I did catch that he has (had?) a dog? Where's it at? (Always the animal lover, me, so I must check on these things. Lol.)

I did see Dean get all butthurt about Sam not looking and... that was way off to me; the way Sam reacted, not Dean's, "Wtf, dude?!?!" reaction. And sometimes, in the bits I'd catch, there was something about the way Sam looked at him. Like... Like he was just so tired of everything. Like, by this juncture he doesn't know whether to commit himself or eat a bullet and leave one for Dean, too. Poor things. Point being: You're totally right about there being something really wrong here.

I talked to [livejournal.com profile] lustmordred about the bit I got to see to keep her up to date since she can't watch at all right now and she had a really interesting idea about what may be going on. And I shares with you now: Dean never made it out of Purgatory at all and this, with Sam not looking for him or even seeming to much give a shit (from what I saw, mind) is Dean's hell. Or there's something wrong with Sam, like really wrong--take your pick: drugs, brain tumor, serious mental breakdown, operating the best he can while on massive doses of Thorazine. Because I saw (most) of the S7 finale, I did catch some real discrepancies between what we saw there and what I got to see during the premiere; things that don't all feel like some of Show's classic hand-waving. Which makes something like that feel/seem even more plausible. Hmm... I AM THINKING ABOUT THINGS NOW.

There is definitely something wrong with Sam because he's wearing his Sam in Hospital face. From the look of the ep, Dean did make it out so the problem is all Sam. I thought from spoilers that us viewers would be seeing the relationship Sam had backwards, so to speak--that it was over by the time Dean popped back and the story would be told in flashbacks but it doesn't look like that to me. I'm assuming at some point we'll meet this Sassy Miz Vet. I hope she's way less manipulative and dismissive than she was in the opener--or maybe she was a bitch out of self-defense--Sam is a whole lot of hot stuff to suddenly have to deal with. All HolyShitHotness with no warning.

*roxy whacks brain--come up with a title for her, damn it, we need this story!!!*

I can't imagine that Sam would be anywhere near well, mentally, physically (though he's still damn fine) or emotionally after all he's been through. Not to mention, I mean, he's already had a smidgen of a mental breakdown... a coupla times... Which, the more often someone goes off the deep end, the more pieces they're missing when they come back usually. It's not something you bounce back from, not completely, not like what he's gone through mental health wise. In other words: The damage has been permanent, at least some. Same with Dean. I actually suspend my disbelief with the show in that regard because they would both be so much more mentally unstable than they show us if all that had really happened to them.

I did see her for about fifteen seconds, which was enough to make me go o_O "She's pretty, but she kind of sucks." Didn't know that was the girlfriend though. She was a condescending so-and-so (look at me, editing myself) bad enough that even that blip had me curling my lip a bit. Also wasn't impressed with her acting skillz, but again: It was only 10/15/maybe 20 seconds, so my opinion is surely skewed.

Oh, god, if you could come up with a title, I'd... I'd... do something in gratitude. Lol. Wow, that was badly put. *facepalm*
