Hey, Bangers, how's it going? You thinking about your stories? I am too! Mostly by reading a lot of porn...no, really, it helps! Sort of. I'm reading lots of porn, listening to tons of oldschool rap and making cryptic notes about the FBI and about SWAT teams. Mostly they cryptic because I can't read my handwriting and or my shorthand (oh, i'll know what that means when i read it again. *peers at 'TL 4tacpsnl+2shtrs, double, trip?'....what the fuck?*) So, yeah, part of my process is deciphering this shit....

Aww, Dream of Life is a nice title--maybe A Dream of Life? Feels like that "A" should be there maybe? :D Seriously though: keep it, "A" or no "A". It's very suggestive of what it could be about. I think so anyway. (Told ya: I have a thing about titles; a good or bad title--to my mind--can be the deciding factor in whether or not I choose to read something.). Ah, well, Dean is kind of a slut, albeit a goodhearted one, so that's totally canon. If Sam was a slut then I may be a bit o_O, but Dean? Nah. Totally works. \o/

Oooh, I like Over the Hills and Far Away for the domestic one. That is a seriously CATCHY title. Keep it! Keep it! *casts imaginary ballot* :D

Ayuh, it is a vicious thing. Not so little, but eh. It's... erm... disturbing, content-wise, in a lot of ways. Nothing particularly graphic, per se (except yeah, kinda), but it's still a horror story. That's why I said Idk if many people will read it. SPN is a scary show, but there aren't a lot of scary stories written in the fandom. We'll see though, ja? Optimism: That is the key. :D

Over the Hills and Far Away, yeah, it seemed kind of perfect for this fic. It's Led Zeppplin, so it fits in a lot of ways! So good, I'll keep that one! :)

Dream of Life, I mined out of a poem that's about war, but always makes me think of Winchesters. So far, the story hasn't settled down, so who knows!

It's true that there aren't a lot of scary stories in fandom. I'm not sure that anything I've read would be classified as scary. That's a pretty good project though, sorting out recs for truly scary SpN fics.

Late reply is late, but I love talking titles, so I hope you'll forgive me there.

Ahh... I don't know much Zepp, maybe 3 or 4 songs. I never was a fan. Shh... don't tell the Winchesters. :D I gank a lot of my titles from songs except This is Not an Exit--that was a book--so muahaha, I think it's even awesomer (totally a word).

Oh? What poem? Share! Share! I love poetry.

I know and I think it's kind of woeful. There should be more horror fic in all fandoms, imo. But SPN should really bring it, given what the show is about and all, but no. I remember back in S1/S2 there was a bit more dark/disturbing/spooky fic out there, but over the years it's pretty much disappeared; at least damn near it. I've found a couple of creeptastic fics in recent years/seasons, but not many. Idk, maybe horror isn't an easy genre? I mean, there's a difference between gratuitous splatter and downright scary shit--whether there's splatter or not. Either that or, well, people just don't like the genre much. Which is sad. SAD, I TELL YOU. *emo tear*
