SpN 8X12, again

So interesting to see your reactions to the ep friends. You've given me something to think about and things to look for when I rewatch. Which I started by rewatching 8X11. Just to see if I missed something. Ach, Dean...he looks the happiest he's looked in a long time! And he and Charlie are adorable together

I have to agree that the actor really was an excellent choice. I could see the boys and John in him, and yeah, he really did his homework, all right! He did a little thing witgh clapping his hands together that reminded me of Dean. It made me think of a Dean raised in that life. How different would they al lhave been! No one can tell me that Sam wouldn't have been happy in that life--and I can see Dean thriving in a life like that too. I'm totally on board with Men of Letters. I like this fuller, more layered world we're getting. Lots of room to play with and opening the world like that makes for fanfic life past Show's end.

We've gone from this tiny, close world were it seemed that hunters were few and far between and mostly crazy to all these levels of hunting and I think seeing that some of John's beliefs might have been prejudices. What a tragedy that the MoL kept to themselves like that. John wouldn't have felt abandoned and his life might have gone on the way Henry wanted it...except for the angels, of course, and S/D's supposed destiny.

Anyhoo, I think I'm going to have to write something in that MoL world. It's just too juicy to ignore!!
