Break my heart, why don't you?
I really do have stuff to say about this ep, but I'll probably end up doing what I usually do, write tons about it and then, delete it all. :) See you tomorrow, guys! We'll talk some more.

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] portraitofafool, dang! You're a writing machine! *be all in awe*

I like to think that I'm a romance novel crier, ala Dean, but not so much. :)

So, where are they talking about Show? My flist is so radio silence. *sigh* I want to revel in the good things but everyone wants to concentrate on the meh stuff. I'm so wrapped up in this thing of ours, I'm feeling the need to write about what I'm seeing!

Well, [livejournal.com profile] missyjack had a good review/semi-meta, and [livejournal.com profile] gaelicspirit always has a good ramble, though i don't think she's posted yet today (but it's worth going back and reading her old reviews...)

Yeah, my flist is pretty slow today, too. Disappointing to have so few reviews of such an awesome episode!

I, too, am tired of the 'meh' people. GET OVER IT. I wish the [livejournal.com profile] spn_woohoo comm had more users and more...everything. It's a bummer.

ARRGH.

I will discuss anything, bb! Possibly not coherently but, I will!

I loved it. I thought it was an emotional bounty.

Poor Sam. Even dead people are giving him crap for not looking for Dean. I hope there is a big reveal that he actually had another reason for not looking for Dean. Amelia still doesn't sit well with me.

It's fascinating and heart breaking watching Kevin come unglued. Poor boy. He better get a nice prize at the end.

Benny. Oh... Benny. You know I love Benny. After last night my love knows no bounds. From the very beginning you knew Dean was going to have to kill him,but kudos to Carver for not making Dean choose between Benny and Sam. I think it was the best possible way for Benny to go, with honor. And kudos to Sam for admitting to Dean that he was wrong about Benny and letting Dean hold onto the idea that he might come back.

It was also nice to see Bobby again and get the hint that he might around in the future.

I thought it was beautifully filmed too.

I loved it too, actually, I always love it more after I think about it. :)

There's such an emphasis on this not looking for Dean that it makes me wonder if there's going to be a payoff about this or is it just that the writers realize now that they really, really fucked up on that. I feel that a lot of the writers don;t get what Dean and Sam are supposed to be to each other. I really feel that Carver has no fucking idea whereas Sera really got it but went off the tracks a bit.

I love Benny so much, and that scene just kicked my ass. Such emotion!! I'm glad to it didn't come down to Dean having to kill Benny for Sam in a confrontational way. It broke my heart too, because Benny really loved Dean, I think he really thought of them as brothers. So SAD!!!

And yeah, it was great to see Bobby however briefly.

It was a great episode. I loved all the stuff around Kevin, and I was wibbling with Dean around Benny. I'm not sure what's going one with Naomi, though. I don't like her at all, but she did help Dean, and later, Bobby.

I do wonder about the end of the episode. Was Crowley really there, and he took Kevin, or was that a physical manifestation of Kevin's mental imbalance? I mean, the glass wasn't broken when Dean and Sam got back, but surely Crowley could snap his fingers and have it all swoosh back into place. Hopefully we'll find out before the season ends.

Naomi helped Dean like Crowley, or Ruby helped them--I know she's got some kind of agenda that doesn't mind chewing up Winchesters like candy for the greater good.

I think that Naomi was the one who snatched Kevin. Some one said that the ship was only warded against demons, not angels? If that's the case, they might be mindwhammying Kevin, poor thing.

Okay, I like this: doesn't mind chewing up Winchesters like candy. What a great way to put it. Very true, too.

Ooo, I hadn't thought it might be the angels messing with him. How awful, if so. It would make sense, though, considering the warding.

Ah, yeah, this episode was a good one. Loved it and I got my Sam fix pretty hardcore here. Also, it was the first episode I've seen where I really got to see any kind of Benny scenes because of my TV issues. Kevin is killing me, man, damn. And Sam... OH, SAM! (And ya know, I like his sloppy bawling way more than I do the "single tear from each eye" method; it's way more realistic. People, even Winchesters, are not pretty when they cry. Lol.)

And Bobby! I've always loved him, so it was good to see him. I agree, too, that Naomi definitely has an agenda; it's heavily implied in the episode where Castiel gets the angel tablet--watch her last scene again. Tapping is brilliant though, these are trufax. I'm very happy they've got her on Show now, she really brings something to that role others may've missed out on. Not sure how to articulate what I mean there. Word fail is never fun. *sigh* Suffice to say, I don't think Naomi is a "good guy" at all, but I am very intrigued by the character and so, I do like her.

Mark is still awesome as Crowley, but I used to love him... these days I love to hate him--that's not a dig at the character/the actor, I still like both and definitely think they bring something vital to the show. The direction he's gone makes it hard to be all <3 about Crowley though. When he killed Meg, all I could think was: BASTARD! He still makes me giggle though, true enough.

They need to put Crowley in the cage with Lucifer, least that's what I hope they do, esp. if they bring Pellegrino back as the physical manifestation of him; he's one of the best Lucifer-s I have ever seen (save Viggo in The Prophecy... "God? God is love. I don't love you." *squees at the delivery*)

Heh, thank ya, I worked like a crazy thing on that piece and am so glad it's done. It actually ended the way I wanted it to! Now the hardcore, brutal side of the editing begins. Woe.

How's yours treating you?
