I just watched it last night and omg that show continues to amaze me. I don't understand why more people aren't watching. They consistently produce episodes that are edgy and thoughtful. I think it's the most honest show on right now. The twists and turns kill me. there aren't any good guys or bad guys, just real, complicated people dealing with their real, complicated lives. Take Dewey for example. It would have been so easy to make him a 2 dimensional cliche cop to use as comic relief but instead they have given us a loyal, dedicated family man you can't help loving. Kudos to C Thomas Howell. He has taken a small role and made it unforgettable.
Okay, so you knew something even worse was going to happen to Cooper and Ben and Sammy were going to explode, but bringing Tom Everett Scott back? What!?! I did not see that coming. What is going on there? Oh Lydia, my favorite woman on tv, be careful.
Enough with my rambling. Great end to a great season!

so, so true! I hardly know what to think about Dewey anymore! He's a terrible person but he seems to have a good heart in there some where--he's like the fanfic version of Chad MM.
Yes, Lydia, watch out! She's the best female character on TV. Omg, I love that woman too. It's to the point where I'm all creepy fan and refer to her character by her real name, lol! I'm all "REGINA, LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU GIRL!" Yeah, bad, i know. :)
I have so much respect for the show and writers for showing us what it's really like to be a mother. Raising kids is the hardest thing you can ever do, and I'm sick to death of television and film making it look like a day at Disneyland. I don't know any mother who hasn't had that moment where she seriously considered dropping those kids off at the fire station. It was very brave of them to show Lydia struggle with the realities of being a mom. It made me love her even more. As a side note, I don't care what any of those online polls say, she is clearly the biggest badass on tv, (sorry Dean).
I may have a small shrine to the beautiful and talented Regina King in the closet. Whose a creepy fan now.
They really did a good job with that. She's a good person and she struggles so hard with the baby and god knows I know what that's like. And yeah, every other single mother on TV has all these safety nets and support around them except for a few little hiccups here and there...raising kids is a hard-ass job.
