finally!

So, in April or there-abouts, BG decided that we needed to have a fish-fry and invite every fucking one. since then to varying degrees it's ruled our lives. we haven't figured out how much it cost us precisely because I don't want to know, oh my god. The last month was intense, this last two weeks was insane! Who knew a thing like that could consume one's life?

It went off this past Saturday, in the rain and humidity, outside. Yes, it was crazy. Yes, it was fun. Family came from all over and I really liked it. You know it had to be good because I'm not social whatsoever. But my brother was there and my sister and Mr R's dad and uncles, both the girl's friends came, co-workers and a neighbor or two...*shakes head* Interesting times. All during the spring and early summer I was writing my BB and planning this thing. Beating up Sam and making lists of flowers for my flower pots.

You guys should know the fish was off the hook as the children used to say. Damn those boys can cook. Me, I just held court and delegated. Now, I can take a quick breather before we clean up the aftermath. ;)

It was TOTALLY exhausting! I'm still recovering! but today, I'm cleaning up the last little bits to do. Or maybe just sitting around and reading BBs, I don't know yet...*GGG*
