roxyYesterday was BG's birthday. 27!!! How the fuck did that happen? That makes me, oh, what--13 when I had her?
If she lets me, I'll put some pics here. It was very low-key, family wise--cake and pressies. She got a Kindle. Yes, my little Luddite has been dragged kicking and screaming into the Century of the Anchovy. After "borrowing" mine for a few weeks(with Bluebeardian warnings not to click on any of my titles *koff*wincest porn*koff*), she had to admit this newfangled thing wasn't half bad. Also, she had to bow to the idea that mom really did read M/M fanfiction and she could no longer pretend I was reading and trading recipes with my kindly old internet friends. Yes, the same ones who plot daily to kidnap me and, I don't know, make me the star of Asian senior porn or something, who knows what goes on in her suspicious little mind. And just in case some of you *are* plotting to kidnap me, I like Duncan Donut House Blend coffee the best and I don't like to get up before nine o'clock.

We were children, children I tell you when babies mysteriously appeared on our doorsteps!
My 'baby' will be 22 in January. I've always said it's not my age that bothers me, it's my kids' ages....
