How do I pick a story to read at AO3? I go by the amount of tags, the chattiness of the tags, and how many characters are listed. The more there are of all of these, the less inclined I am to take a chance. And of course, the ever popular warning, "This is crap", is a sure-fire way to tell if a story is crap. And if the writer apologizes in advance, another sure sign it sucks. I mean, heck, I'm willing to take the writer's word. Who knows better than they do if it's worth reading or not?

A few days ago I asked for good wishes--I think things are moving in a positive way. I'll keep you guys posted and thanks!

OMG YES! to all of the above! When the list of tags look longer than the story, no thank you! And major spelling/grammar errors in tags & summaries. I also use the number of comments/kudos in comparison to the number of hits.

You know I'm always sending positive thoughts your way, but I'm sending an extra wave for you. :) ♥

*loves you so much*!

There's a story at AO3, I kid you not, the tags list goes on for ever. Any character even thought about is listed, along with I have no idea what because I fell asleep before I finished reading the tags. ;)
