Not only is Thomas appearing in Parkland, but in another movie--Draft Day. This was news to me, good news! You know Yer Mother has a sports movie fetish. :)

Draft Day has a very well regarded screenplay. It was #1 in the yearly list of top unproduced scripts last year, The Black List.

Both films seem like they will be excellent movies.

Thomas wasn't just taking a break, he was waiting for the right scripts to come along. It seems he's more than just a pretty face, since he's making very smart choices.

Thomas is a very smart man, who obviously has plans. I'm so happy to see him going forward. so what if he's never Superman? He's going to be better than that. :)

Considering how awful most of the Superman movies have been (and omg, do we *really need* yet another Batman movie??) - it's a good thing, in my mind.

I'm glad, even with supporting parts, he's chosen some excellent projects to be in.
