December 3- Talk about your favorite Smallville moments. :)

Gosh, it's been so long…I'd have to say that one scene in the ep where Lionel steals Clark's body, because both of them acted the *hell* out that ep. Plus in the prison riot scene, Clark in the background walking past the cell and looking like a predator…yum! Oh, and Clark from the alternate world, and any ep where Clark is evil—hah! So hot!

Okay. I thought it would be a word or two but there were actually so many scenes and eps I loved. I loved any ep that they got to stretch their acting wings. Lex as Zod, Lex as the president in an oval office light with the light of nuclear bombs going off…ach, that bit where the old lady has visions of Lex's future and him standing in a field of dying sunflowers. The problem with SV was that most of the fabulous bits were images and whatever good the actors could wring out of the scripts—the story lines, eh, not so much. Especially that whole arc with that godawful Jason Teague…ech. ;)

Well most of them feature Lex as well but here goes: Clark on red K in Red when he and Lex toy with running off to metropolis! If only they had mmm.! Lex as Alexander in Onyx. The hug between Clark and Lex when Lex returns from the island. Hourglass with Lex as president and Clark outliving everyone he loves! Chloe finding out Clark's alien origins. Lex as Zod.Clark in Crusade but not the Lois parts! Memoria the whole episode! The scenes where Clark and Lionel body swap. Lionel being a magnificent bastard I only wish the writing had been so much better and they would've explored the Clark & Lex relationship and not run screaming away from the potential of Clark and Lex as lovers who loved, fucked , fought, reconciled and then split to become enemies with an intimate past that they cannot completely leave behind hence their current day love/hate relationship. Anyhow I guess thats why fanfic happened; and boy am I am damn glad it did! Sorry for the run on sentences . That might be why I don't write since the grammar police would write me many tickets!

Jason wasn't bad. Lana as a witch? That</> was hideous.

LOL! I don't know...at least the guy who played Jason went on the make my little heart swell. I was still in my "ick--that Janson Eckles, Jensen Aknels, whatever his name is sure gets on my nerves." Who knew!!??

Poor Lana. It's like once she grew up, they had no idea what to do with her. She was cute when they were in high school--or maybe I'm thinking of the fic. I think she got the short stick on that show. After all, it was all about Lex and Cark. :D

It's been a long time since I watched season 4, but I think the Jason Teague storyline suffered from "Wait, what were we doing again?"-itis. I mean, first he was the vacation hookup that followed Lana home, then apparently they realized Jensen has many excellent qualities, but passing for jailbait was no longer among them, so he needed an actual reason to be in Smallville. So they made him an assistant coach in what was, sadly, not the most random decision made that season (or even in Jason's personal storyline, as we'll see), but was wicked skeevy, even if Lana *was* technically of age in the State of Kansas. And then when it came out that he was dating a student, he lost his job and went to work for the only other employer in Smallville, Lex, who was all tied up in that stupid stones storyline. (Best part? There were only 3, so we didn't have to deal with an entire season of random-ass McGuffins, unlike the Phantom Zone plot.) And then it's like, "Wait, we should totally give Jason a reason to be involved in this part of the plot. Oh hai, Jane Seymour!" (And incidentally, Jane Seymour+Robert Picardo=Jensen Ackles--in Bizarro-world!) And then to wrap it up, he was waiting to hear back on the pilot on Supernatural, so they had him indeterminately killed by the most convenient "Rocks fall, everybody named Jason dies" meteor ever.

But at least the writers didn't turn him into a Medieval French Kung Fu Witch who spoke perfect modern English. :)
