peanut butter kisses

1 jar (8oz)peanut butter, creamy type
1 and 1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
one bag of Hershey kisses
set oven to 350 degrees
stir together all ingredients (except kisses) with wooden or silicon spoon, dough will be sticky
with floured hands, make 1 inch balls.
place 1 and 1/2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet
bake 1 to 2 minutes--until cookies look dry and the tops have cracked
remove from oven and press a kiss into the top of each cookie
cool on the sheet for a minute or two, then transfer to wire rack to finish cooling
the most work? undressing the kisses.

12/13/13 06:06 pm (UTC)The cookies are excellent! Very simple, no icing or anything required unless you'd want to add that. They have a rich, full flavor if you're a molasses fan, which works very well for these particular cookies. I used this recipe in Home Ec class and got an A! ;)
