I thought hard, real hard, and kicked my J2 post-apocalyptic story idea around but I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. I've got ideas but...thinking. In the mean time I have that domestic Sam/Dean story that I've been working on for a long, long, time and I think that's where my mind is at right now. I like domestic stories, I like stories that just kind of wander to the end, so I'm writing what I like. I have it on pretty good authority that it doesn't stink. So, here I go! Wait--should I have Sam turn into a dragon? Or maybe make them werewolves? Oooo--oooo! Dean has accidentally mind-melded with him and it's all weird because Sam's trying to keep his naughty feelings for Dean in a tiny box so that Dean can't see what Sam's dealing with...hah! Nah! I think all my drama will revolve around Dean forgetting to get non-fat lactose free milk and instead getting whole milk and Sam has a meltdown--

Wow. I'm watching old Psyche eps and what the hell--are there like only twenty actors in all of Canada?

Bearing in mind I don't actually like Sam/Dean and so most likely won't read it, my vote is for Sam/Dean domestic fic... where Sam also happens to be a dragon. No big thing, he's just part dragon, whatever. And then Dean forgets to get the non-fat lactose free milk when he knows that dragons can't have lactose...

Wow. I'm watching old Psyche eps and what the hell--are there like only twenty actors in all of Canada?
It was always amusing when SV would bring back actors over & over but cast them in different roles. SPN now does this too. I can always tell if something is filmed in Vancouver by the guest cast!

Quite like the sound of that mind meld but, on the other hand, I'm a sucker for a curtain fic :) And I'm quite liking the lactose intolerant dragon prompt, too :P

I'm assuming this is the one I saw and I wouldn't say it was a schmoopy curtain fic? It was a Roxified schmoopy curtain fic. I saw plenty of angst waiting to happen. Upon further thinking, one of the things I really loved was their age. They read like adults. I like the idea of older Sam and Dean dealing with those issues instead of them being in high school or college. Not that I don't love a good HS fic, but this intrigues me. I can't wait to see where it ends!

Yeah, that's the one! They're adults for sure, and Sam's fighting with the tail end of that Hallucifer shit. I like writing them older when dealing with this subject. I feel more sure about it in terms of what the issues are. When age is a factor too, it just makes it even more difficult--or should, I'm thinking. :)

I like dragons....

But I'm also very fond of more mature curtain fic, too, with bifocals and ben-gay. So this one, I think. (but there could also be dragons)
