See that icon? It was my SV OT3. Good times, good times.
If there are anymore looking at my LJ, I need your help! If you remember the stories I wrote, I'd love your input. There are a few I'd like to clean up and post on AO3. They're at the SSA on AO3, and you might remember what a bitch it was to post at SSA, not to mention edit stuff. I have a few stories in mind and I put summaries with them to hopefully jog memories. :)

Deal: (my fave) a threesome with Lex, Clark, Adam. Lex disappears and Adam and Clark work together to find him. A crazy AU with powers!Lex.

Stand By Me: Clex in the time of Depression era Kansas. Warning for incest, abuse, threesome and psychic powers. Love me some powers. *GRIN*

Rake The Moon: boarding school AU Bruce/Lex. just a huge old giant angst-fest filled with tears and DaddyBadTouch!Lionel.

Exiled: pretty much a hot mess but it's got angsty (what??? i'm so surprised!!) Bruce/Lex/Clark threesome stuff. In fact, Exiled was such a mess that I'd never planned to clean it up but now I'm thinking, it might not be a bad idea.

And then there's Dis Pater 1 and 2....

Ah, the days when I wrote any old shit because I had no idea what I was doing! And had a hell of a good time doing it. Everyone was so nice about it....*nostalgic sigh*

My biggest disappointment, I mean, my *GIANT* disappointment was the lack of response to I'll Fly Away. I love that story. I think it's a damn good one--to this day I'm satisfied with it. But. It didn't get an audience, because of the pairing, I think. Clark/Pete was not popular. I never shipped them either--Pete was just so fucking straight, lol! But thinking about this story and the issues I wanted to write about, they made a perfect pairing. Plus, it was nice to feature a character of color as something besides the straight man--in both senses of that phrase. :D

I wrote Pete a lot. Pete was almost always Clark's first crush in my SV slash, it just made sense. He was cute, and built like OMG...wasn't hard to connect the dots. But man, he was so relentlessly hetro that I think Fly Away is the only time I wrote him as gay.

Anyway, long-winded, blah, help a sister out? :)

Rake the Moon is a huge favourite of mine - my favourite Bruce/Lex story in fact.

Really? wow, thank you so much!

That one might be easier to do because I did clean it up somewhat before posting it at SSA. I liked that one too but I've been afraid to reread it. Oy, the embarrassment at times! At least I can say that all those stories were very enthusiastic! :)

DId you do Mariposa already? And the Young Kryptonian's Travels? And Ripley 1 and 2. And the one you did that was a CLex take on The Stand, I forget the name.

And the SSA, what a pain in the *ass*! You miss one asterisk and half your story looks like a flashback.

Yep! I did all those already, including the Stand one--Out Of A Foreign Land. I love the way things look on AO3, so crisp and neat! :)

God, I could never get past that posting process on SSA. Truly a pain in the ass. We loved it for the ability to read a ton of great stuff but posting...Oy.

I haven't read these for quite some time but Stand By Me sticks out most strongly, just from the fascinating period setting. I don't know if I ever saw I'll Fly Away - the pairing might not have interested me back when I was devouring the SSA, but it probably would now.

I think you might like Fly Away now--the setting is the south during the civil rights era. Now that pairings aren't quite the make or break thing that they used to be (though I understand there are still some shipping wars going on?) it's easier to take a chance on an odd pairing. I remember back in the day folks raised an eyebrow at Whit/Clark but after a while it didn't matter much.

I always did like the off pairing, like Riley/Spike. or Angel/Lindsey in Buffy fandom, or Sam/Cas in SpN fandom, and of course my various weirdo ships in SV. *G* I'm probably the only person in SV fandom who wrote a character who was only in half an ep and got squished by a car and paired him with Lex and paired him with Whit.

SV, damn, I had a lot of fun with that fandom.

Plus I was kinda thinking Stand By Me myself. ;D

I think I remember the Fly Away one. Is there a link here that I'm not seeing? I liked Pete back in the day, when he was written sympathetically.

Did Stand by Me involve trains? Or a stranger on the train... Oh, I don't know. My memory's shot. I can't even remember who Adam may've been!

LOL! I'll have to get the links for you! With the train thing, you might be thinking of Firebird and the Grey Wolf. There were trains involved there. Stand By Me was crazy Whit/Lex/Clark threesome times.

Well, I do remember trains in the Firebird story, but I was too much a pansy to read to the end, alas. With the other story, I'm remembering some gentleman who rode the rails or somesuch and seemed to be a really good character but who turned out to be a killer. Or something. Oh dear. This hazy memory makes retrieving info so difficult! ;)

Oh! Maybe you're thinking about East of the Sun? (http://roxymissrose.livejournal.com/tag/sv%3A%20east%20of%20the%20sun) With Reggie, who seemed like a good character but who'd molested a very, very young Lex? They rode the rails in that story. I have the feeling a LOT went on in that story, lol!
