hopping on real quick

We've been busy the last few days. BG has been home so that we can nurse her through the worst case of stomach flu we've ever dealt with! The poor thing has finally, after three days, been able to keep liquids down. It's been stressful and I've basically been hovering and wincing and worrying. She finally managed to keep some ginger ale down and this evening had a popsicle which has not reappeared so I think we're okay. I took off work to watch out for her and take he to the doctor. I'm sure I'll be hearing about that. Oy. Oh well.

I miss you guys! I know it hasn't been that long but it feels like forever!

Oh my gosh, I've never seen a stomach flu so evil before! She's a little better than yesterday and I do have to admit, I'm a little worn out, lol!

Goodness, I hope she is well on the way to recovery. I think it's wonderful she came to you. I remember being a newlywed with a sick hubby, and not having a clue what to do--the panic was awful. Moms are the best, I tell you what.

I was amazed that most folks at work thought that I was babying her and that I was being a pushy mom! I just feel sorry for their kids! ;D

She's glad to be home and I'd never rest without being able to keep my eye on her, the poor little sickie. :)

I was sick a couple weeks ago and had to take a day 'cause i was coughing so much it was impossible to talk - which is my job. And oh, yes, did i get all 'whaa whaa whaaa' from work 'cause i didn't go see a doctor.

My only sick day out of an entire year, you'd think they'd give it a rest. Hope nobody gets too stupid in your face.

Awww yuck! Poor BG. I'm glad to hear she's feeling a bit better. My husband has the other kind of flu. Poor guy sounds like he's drowning when he coughs.
