This is actually very true! Jensen is classically gorgeous, so very VERY attractive in a "Humans aren't supposed to be this stunning!" sort of way.

But Jared is too tall, too broad-shouldered/narrow-hipped, too angular, too quirky, too sweaty, AND YET. And yet. The sum of his parts is devastatingly attractive.

Between the two of them, I am goners.

If this helps at all, when I was a teen, I had a lung tumor. It had gone undiagnosed for so long that a lobe of my lung collapsed and I had to have that lobe of my lung removed. Now, nearly 20 years later, all I have is a scar. And that was 20 years ago... the docs will fix him up no problem.

Oh, that's good news about the tumor. I'm sure there's an efficient and thorough way to get it removed, and I wish him fast healing and you fast getting-over-worrying.

Um. Yeah, dirty-sweaty isn't my favorite flavor of manbeast, nor is designer-suit man. I like my man in worn, but not necessarily holey, jeans and (my preference) white dress shirt, open collared, sleeves rolled up, white henley, sleeves pushed up, frayed at the cuff and collar, plain white tee shirt, V or U-neck, or white tank undershirt. I'm a simple woman at heart.

I'd never seen Gilmore Girls, or Dark Angel, so S1, Jensen was all anime eyes to me, one of which wandered a bit. And Jared was "ordinary" but cute. Second season? Oh my, look at those shoulders on Jared! And they parted his bangs, and there was a manchild's face, not a boy's. Jensen's face had started to fill out from Uncanny Valley pretty, too. It all just got better from there.

But yeah, I remember "the cute one and the tall one."

My word--we really are related somehow, it must be. My tastes run the same way! I remember buying Mr. R a white dress when we were still dating and begging him to wear it just the way you described...my, that was a nice date. ;)

And ditto on the J2 thoughts, lol!

I totally hear you. I always found Jared looked so young that preving on him seemed EXTRA pervy, whereas Jensen seemed that smidgen older and more gorgeous in a completely adult way that he was fair game.

And Jared has definitely improved with age, from the angles on his face to the shoulders. I look back at earlier seasons and see he was always as tall, but now he seems a man and fair game. I also found that in writing I had to love both of them to write them. So Jared got lumped in somehow and I made room for him in my heart and now he's stuck. The boys are both such total opposites thought, there is no way in hell there could ever be incest because there is no way in hell they are brothers LOL!

Jared's not my type at all, but I can see how others can find him attractive. Jensen though.. he slays me each and every time. :')
