Remember when we knew all this stuff about cows and farming because we were writing Smallville? *reminiscing sigh* When I first started writing SpN, I thought, "Man, this stuff is easy! I don't have to know anything about Kansas or farms or billionaires and how much they spend for shirts or prostitutes...." Those were the days, my friend!

It seems like every fandom has something, but I hadn't actually considered that SPN has less of that sort of thing until now!

Oh, sister--that's what I used to think! But standing here ankle deep in research about guns and roads and motels and social services and herbs, deadly and benign, and just so much research...I was wrong. :D
