How many times have you been stopped by the police--without doing anything to give them a reason to stop you, like speeding, or weaving all over the road, or throwing stuff out the window?

When i was 17 i was stopped 7 times in the space of 2 weeks!!! It was the same policeman each time. And it was always in the early hours of the morning. And i was alone every time. I was terrified.

I was dating a boy who lived a few miles away from me and he didn't drive and i was stopped on my way home from his house.

There was no reason for the policeman to stop me. Nothing wrong with the car and i drive carefully & i don't speed. I have been driving for 26 years without a ticket or a point on my license!!!

My mum complained to the police on my behalf and i haven't been stopped since.

Yeah, that definitely feels like you dodged a bullet. There's a *huge* example of misuse of authority.
