How many times have you been stopped by the police--without doing anything to give them a reason to stop you, like speeding, or weaving all over the road, or throwing stuff out the window?

Mr. R, great big teddy bear that he is, has been stopped for nothing a few times. But we're old folks, and our parents taught us how to respond to the police. No direct eye contact, don't raise your voice or your hands. Kids today refuse to do that. They think they have a right not to act servile, can you imagine?
