The Director of Photography must have sworn a blue streak when the script came across his desk. "I have to shoot the entire episode from inside the Impala. The actual Impala. Mother-snakes-on-a-plane!" :)
And I just want to say, the most amusing and most frustrating thing about this episode is that there was half-dressed Dean and likely-naked Sam and we basically didn't see so much as a chest hair. "Nice shorts" that we can't see because soap suds and car sex where there's only room for one person to get dressed at a time, so Sam's basically a disembodied voice.
