We're alive! My part of NJ (right outside of Philadelphia) didn't get hit too terribly hard. Good enough for me to fold up my tent and call it a weekend. :D

He shoveled off the front porch and a path to the cars. You can see sort of how high the snow is, but that's mostly the result of drifting--we probably got about 6"-8" so far.

OMG, such gorgeous eyes she has! And the snow is much prettier than our present deluge, though I'm pretty grateful this isn't freezing.

I love the snow the first few days, until it starts to turn to grey sludge and mud. Then it's just sad. But the first day is always magical, as long as you're looking at it from inside the house, cozy and snug with hot chocolate and something good to read and nothing else to do... :D :D :D

Why, thank you, she has eyes just like her daddy.
