Oh my goodness, they broke my heart, I was shocked stupid. This show is the scariest show on TV, not only for the monsters, but what they'll do to the cast and fuck the audience. And all I have to say is Daryl is the baddest motherfucker on the planet, right up there with Dean Winchester!

oh, it's so good! I avoided it for a while because it was so gory, not gonna lie, and they kill everyone you love, but it's just so. damn. good.

Plus, there's DARYL. Talk about character development, oh my goodness, through the course of the story, Glen and Daryl become *amazing*!!

I'm not thrilled with gore, but I manage with SpN and Game of Thrones, so hopefully TWD isn't worse that those. In fact, with the deaths and the gore is sounds a lot like GoT (minus the nudity, darn it). :)

Good character development gets me through a lot.

I should have known by the title - this is a zombie show isn't it? I'm not a big fan of zombies, but I'm watching the pilot, right now, and I'm intrigued.

I know, I know! But try to stick it out, because the human story is just so interesting! I hope you like it :)

I'm on Ep2, right now. I'm nervous about what you said about them messing with the cast. I already have people I don't want anything to happen to, but I'm guessing I shouldn't. Also, that poor horse in Ep 1. Horrible.

OMG you have to keep watching, she says, just jumping onto the bed in the middle of the slumber party! I wish we could do a joint watch a la our Friday Night Lights viewing but alas: real life. Still! Daryl is definitely what keeps me tuned in despite the cruelty of the deaths. I will say if you've made it thus far in Game of Thrones, you're well equipped to ford The Walking Dead river of GRIEF & GORE!

Roxy's not kidding: Daryl & Glenn & Rick. And Carol & Carl. And Michonne (but she's a ways down the road in season 3)!!!

I know!! I want to say stuff, but I don't want to spoil her and ruin the fun!! Or, maybe not fun...fun might not be the best word to describe it.... ;D

OH, I'm having fun alright. This show is amazing. I look away when they crunch heads, but other than that, it's great. It seems less gruesome than Game of Thrones, so that's good. I've been watching every chance I get.

I am! I'm well into season two. Just finished E8 and Watched Rick shoot two travelers before they could shoot him. Shane is definitely the douche I thought him from his first line on the show.

Daryl is pretty amazing, and keeps getting more amazing. I don't have any feelings for Carol right now, other than pity - being an abused woman and losing her daughter. I'm glad Carl survived his gunshot wound, and I really sympathize with Lori. I would have a hard time thinking about bringing a child into that world.
