...I haven't forgotten-- My photos to ya'll, They're coming!

Summer Story, they're coming too.

An Ivan story has been sort of requested, but all this talk of cookies and Christkwansmuka is making it hard for me to get in the proper frame of mind, so...

I miss talking to my beloveds so much, do you miss me too?

Why , why can't I reduce pics for icons and not lose quality? How do you do that? I have a picture I'm mad for, but when I reduce it, it looks like shit. PLEH!!!!

After I finish these stories, I'm going to take a niiiice loooong break, and read and draw and keep away from bunnies like the PLAGUE!

one pic i was having a problem with, (oh god, i don't know if i can explain this!) i tried softening the detail, and then it looked better when i reduced it. do you have something in your program like that you can play around with? good luck!

Softening after reduction or before?

Because I usually have better results sharpening the detail before reducing it. In fact, I can usually edit->sharpen->reduce a few times before it becomes a lost cause.

Before reduction. it might depend on the picture. you could try it either way (softening or sharpening)and see what looks better for that picture. :)

Ummm...well, imagine me in front of my computer, a puzzled look on my face as I poke it gently with a stick and in the background, "Thus Spoke Zarathrustra" is playing, with unfortunately, no dawning light for me...

I'm right there with ya! okay, we've got a thing called MGI Photosuite 8.06, and i don't know if that's considered a good program or what. (and if anyone wants to jump in here with an opinion or advice about this program, please do, all i know is that it came with our secondhand computer) when you open up a jpeg in it there's a bar across the top with edit, view, and so forth, and one of those things is "fun". click that (and half naked cabana boys come dancing out with iced strawberry margaritas and they dance for you, slowly grinding their crotches together as shiny beads of sweat slowly trail down the creamy caramel skin of their taut abdomens...)and you get a drop down box and one of the things on that is special effects. click that and play with stuff!
