roxyRL conspires to keep me away from my boys. My goal right now is to be good to Mr.Roxy, who's been pouting--alot. On a huge bearded man,this is not an attractive thing. In fact, it's a little frightening. And, kind of funny (must not make him pout for the funny, that would be wrong...) I've been telling him a little about the stories I've been writing, and he's interested in a technical way but confused as to the subject matter. Willfully I figure.
He's always very sympathetic when I watch SV and scream at the TV, and always very kind when I come in and bury my face in his tummy, (he's taller than me) and scream that the show hates me. He never asks the obvious. Though he did comment that he didn't remember me screaming like this at Buffy....
He tapes Lost, and watches it with me. He'll call me to the TV when one of my crushes are on, or save articles he finds about them for me. He'll buy mags if they have a pic of my current crush. Once,for a surprise, he bought a gay magazine for me, because I complained that Playgirl's guys were ugly and the gay mags had better pictures. I smiled a lot picturing him buying that magazine. He'll do just about anything I ask, and he's always had my back. He groans when I throw my CD's on, because he thinks rap is the devil, but brags about it to his co-workers. He doesn't curse but let's me curse for him. so, pretty much on the road, he points and I'm all "Fuckin' asshole!" and he tsks and grins in his mustache.
He loves when I get my hair buzzed, and doesn't see anything unusual about his love for (way)butch women (we've giggled about that before, hunh?) so I can dress like I want to and act how I want and he pretty much gets a kick out of it. he has no problem with me channeling my inner boy, and in the next minute hanging off him like the little spoiled ass- princess I also am.
He understands that the folks I talk to on line are real friends, and he's alway willing to listen about my LJ friends and what's up with them,(unlike Baby Girl who is terrified that one of you will stalk me...I have a list of those I wish would stalk me...)He's the one who hounded me to send TQ her package.*koffsorrykoff*. I'm Susan at home, but he knows Roxy is my name too-- does that make sense? There's a point I'm trying to make there.*G*

He gets on my nerves and cuts into my LJ time and insists I go food shopping (tchah! what's up witddat?) and *has* to ask me questions when I'm on the phone but but he's mine and I'm keeping him. Also, he's got a better ass then Will Smith. I'm just sayin'....
Any hoo, I hope to have something here soon, 'cause Roxy's life isn't nearly as interesting to any one who isn't named Roxy! ;)

My beloved is pretty wonderful, too, but not quite as secure about my fannish interests, but hey, he hasn't actually married me, so i like to see him jealous. But sometimes i think he's more jealous of the computer. It is his, after all. :)
