Last night, I had a dream I started smoking again, and everyone was so disappointed in me. And I was all "Kiss my biiiig cafe au lait ass!"while ripping through a pack.
*sigh* I love it when I have good dreams. The only thing that would have made this better is if Anderson Cooper had shown up on my doorstep with Mikey and vowed to be my body slaves...why doesn't that ever happen?

Cooper was on Jon Stewart and Jon was very nice to him. What a gentleman the man is. *Adds him to list of people to stalk and molest after full body plastic surgery that rivals Vivica Fox's turns her into sex goddess.* Really though, I don't need that-- not me. I just need the Way-Back Machine...all that youthful energy coupled with the wisdom I've gained in my old age--*adds latex flogger to bag*

You rebel, you! hmmm... one of the (somewhat new-agey) theories about addictions i've come across is that you need to give yourself permission to indulge in the substance. only them can you make a free choice not to. otherwise, it's a constant struggle against the lure of the "forbidden". Struggling with this one myself...

Ha! If I smoked one--I'd give myself permission to smoke a million! Sometimes you just have to struggle, nothing wrong with that. After all these years, I can't believe I did it in the first place, I felt really--strong that I could. What was interesting at the time was who believed I would quit with out questioning it, and who thought I couldn't do it.
Mr. Roxy was one who believed without a doubt. He's such a good boy! :)
