I'm in such a good mood it's almost...skeery!
could it be because I'm...naw! It's not that. Is it the...naw, I don't think so. Is it possibly because I'm totally insane...eh, could be, wabbit, could be.

so, that five fictional character thing that's been floating around? It looked like fun. So I'm thinking back to my teens, and the only peeps I can come up with is the guys from Dark Shadows, whom (is that right? Who? Whom?) I'm too lazy to look up, or Dracula (Hammer Films only--my goodness, Christopher Lee--sex in a cape) Spock of course, (actually Kirk and Spock together--even in those days before I knew there was such a thing, I was slashing them two, come on--it was soooo obvious)oh! and Wolverine *sigh*

Is that five? I don't know.

nerodi mentioned telling herself stories, and I remember when I were but a wee slip of a girl, making up these enormous elaborate scenarios in my head, these stories that would go on for days and Mary-Sue my ass off with the best! Of course, in my male persona because girls were icky and boring. They involved the Marvel Universe because I was the biggest comic-head at the time (old school ref there *G*)
Ah, Wolvie, Wolvie, what nasty fun we had. *sigh* I always had a thing for the potentially/possibly psychotic with very sharp bits!

My stars, and here I am over twenty years later, doing the exact same thing! Wow! Time *is* a big fuckin' circle! Woot, as the children say.

Oh, I used to do that a hell of a lot! Especially after I grew up a bit, around 14-15 I got a reaaaaaal bad case of insomnia. Lasted until I was nearly 18. (And yet I was hyper. Don't ask, I was one of those annoyingly energetic teenagers.) Anyhow, I shared a room with my sister so I coulnd't stay up and read or anything so I would make up all sorts of stories and even a whole entire saga. Then I really grew up and started writing about hot naked men! ::snicker::

If you're talking about the vampire from Dark Shadows, his name was Barnabas Collins, played by Jonathan Frid, upon whom I had a tremedous crush when I was a kid. The werewolf was Quentin Collins--can't remember who played him. I watched that show every day after school. :)

I loved that show! (Check out my new icon!) It was a big hit in our neighborhood. Everyone ran home after school every day to watch it - we could go out and play after it was over! I found myself humming Quentin's Theme the other day, and it took me forever to remember what it was.
