You know, I feel as though I've been unpleasantly stoned and half aware the last--gee, nearly a week now. Very nasty feeling. I went to the doctors a few days ago--I know! I was actually worried enough to go to the doctor! She adjusted my blood pressure medication--gave me the lecture about taking them right--patted me on the head...did I tell you I love my doctor? Pat me on the head and I'm your's, shameless hussy that I am. I lost a pound since my last visit and she suggested that my dizzy spells might be connected to my sudden weight loss. Aah-haahaa...she's got jokes. Actually she made me laugh really hard--she's so cute!

so--I've decided that this weirdness is what made me loose my story and then take enormous amounts of time on rewriting tiny little bits of it--swear--two hours tryin' to find out what road the boys would take out of Kansas in 1939. I should beg someone else to my research...say, guess how many times I mentioned that road---that frickin' call in Mr. Roxy for help and agonize over? Once. One fucking time. See? Ill. I should just go back and delete massive amounts of stuff--gosh, and anyone's journal that I was weird in? Take no notice, I'm normally quite sane--Oh, all right! I know, I know. Just pretend. Make me happy.

Oh! Speaking of happy, the Lex-Clark Kiss Watch continues, young Spike who is on watch if you recall, told me today that he'd indeed watched Smallville Wednesday and Lex and Clark were this *close* to kissing, he claims. As he put it, "they were in each other' faces and you know how that can turn sometime." He thinks we're close to paydirt. Ah! The innocent faith of youth!

the Lex-clark Watch continues. Next week I'll teach him to say Clex--

That's scary about your BP. I'm glad you and your doc figured it out. Now take your medicine the way your supposed to! Promise?

I swear! I have no idea why I'm such an idiot about taking the meds--it must be denial...*sigh*

Nobody likes to take medicine regularly. Taking medicine regularly makes some people feel like a failure, and some people hate the side effects. That's why you need to take them regularly at the same time everyday, so you can tell the doctor, "Well, I don't like the way it makes me feel at this particular time of day or after I eat, or whatever." If you take it whenever (like my father does) it's hard to figure out what's wrong.

I have high cholesterol, and I'm trying to lose some weight and change my diet so when the doctor says I need the medication, I'll know that I did all that I could.

Do you have a blood pressure cuff at home? My mother used to take her blood pressure at two certain times every day. Then she'd write it down. If she felt funny at any time, she'd write down the date and time. That way the doctor knew whether to adjust it or not.

Oh. You didn't act weird in my journal and I didn't see any weird posts. Well, nothing wierder than usual;)

Ah--see? I take my meds willy-nilly and I never thought that it makes sense to take them at a specific time...yeah.
I do have a cuff of course, in a box some where. I will find it...dang. I feel an idiot, I'm always on to others to take their meds and behave. *sigh* It's so much easier for me to give advice then to take it.
