I just want you to know I read your story, "Stand By Me," and was VERY impressed. What I liked most was the way you described everything. Especially that scene with the house, the porch...I could see and smell and hear everything as though I was there. Very few fan writers have the ability to set a scene like that.

I will be reading more of your work, now. :)

I got through the first day of actual classes pretty well, and it looks like the rest of the semester is shaping up pretty well. I've had two students call me to ask for details about how to do the first homework assignment! Do you realize how hard it is to do that when English is not your native language? I think I'm already getting a good relationship started with these girls, to have them call me like that.

Also I posted the edited and revised version of ch 12, and I think the little changes I made fit better into what's going on with Drusilla.

But I love And! it's one of my favorite words. Usually I have to cut giant bucketfuls of 'and's out of anything I write.
