herohunter got me in a nostalgic mood this morning, thinking about my beloved Baby Girl and what an extremely difficult child she was. Oh, she was wonderfully well-mannered , loving and obedient, it's just that she never, ever slept, and she never ever ever wanted to be without me. Ever. Think Manitou, or any flick where the guy pulls up his shirt and there's a face in th middle of his chest. She was aspiring for that kind of closeness it seemed. Creepy? You bet? Annoying and exasperating? You bet!
Thus, God in her wisdom, makes kids so darn cute, you can't bring yourself to smother them in their sleep. Wanna see how cute?

5/24/05 05:19 am (UTC)The Boss is laying on the sofa as we speak, passed out since it's 1am, but he'll wake up if I try to take him to bed again so soon!! lol!!
Since it was MY fault, I will try and post a pic of The Boss for ya this week, but The Dad is visiting, so i'm pretty much off LJ.
